Short biography

Lubna Qassim is an international lawyer, geoeconomic strategist and former senior multilateral diplomat. She served as Minister Plenipotentiary, First Degree, and as the UAE’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations and International Organizations in Geneva, and was Senior Executive Vice President and Group Chief General Counsel at Emirates NBD, the bank’s first female C-suite executive. She is a Distinguished Fellow at UCLA’s Center for Middle East Development.
